What a great day meeting people and installing the banners at the grainger market on Friday!

Thanks to everyone who came to have a look. If you haven’t seen the banners for the Younity Mural yet - please do go check them out ! They’ll be up during The Late Shows next week. There’s some photographs below showing the banners and the list of co-artists displayed below, next to the balcony.

Each banner represents one of the four core themes that were discussed at the workshops. These included Freedom (Orange), Compassion (Green), Growth (Blue), Connect (Yellow). Over the five workshops co-artists and contributors generously gave their thoughts, ideas and artworks to the Younity Mural Project. These were then collated into these banners and designed carefully to add everyone’s work.

There are a total of twenty A3 sized traces printed on vinyl across different locations in the city centre including the Grainger Market, Centre for Life, Princes Trust, Shelter North East, China Town, British Heart Foundation, Newcastle Arts Centre, Newcastle Castle, and Newcastle Helix at the Core.
